Nestled in the Industrial neighborhood of Naraina, New Delhi, is our recently completed 750-sqft retail boutique that houses @saliljaisinghofficial’s label of elevated classics.
Swathed in a largely monotoned palette of greys, the compact studio is experienced as an envelope of darkness, anchored beneath a dramatic angular volume illuminating the display aisle. As one’s eyes trace the implied geometries, they are subjected to a multifunctional clothing rack system that spans across the space. Elemental in nature, these mild-steel modules comprise of hanging rods, platforms, display pegs and mood-lighting fixtures, designed to be disassembled at any point in time.
Referencing the grunge context through its rugged textures, the store attempts to soften the industrial ambience through statement brass accents, thus adding a compelling element of drama and choreographing an immersive experience as one treads the store.
